These days, online reviews are so easy to find and so helpful when making that decision on what to buy or where to go. Reviews and testimonials on your Dental Practice are more important than just filling that page of your website. These reviews go into making patients' decisions when selecting a provider for their treatment.
You’re online, searching for a decorator in the area. You find one nearby with a nice looking website but are the pictures on the website of work they have done or stock images? You look for a gallery page or a reviews page on the site but there isn’t one. Do you call and get them to come round for a quote or do you move on to find a site with a “here’s some of my work” page. I know what I’d do. Your clients will do the same.
A Dental website with a list of services and prices but no reviews or success stories is going to be overlooked and forgotten about thanks to the next one which had a bunch of glowing reviews and testimonials. Even at best, the website would be second choice to one with testimonials accompanied by before and after shots. Imagine your gallery page, here’s how I helped this young lady with a missing front tooth, before and after… Here’s some examples of fillings and caps we did two months ago…
You Need Dental Reviews To Build Trust
Not only is it good advertising for your business, it’s reassurance for prospective clients. You hear a lot of, "I went to that dentist, they didn’t numb me properly, don’t go there". You also hear, "Oh that dentist is great, so friendly, caring and patient, I’d recommend them". With less face to face contact nowadays why wait for word to get around. Ask your clients to share their experiences on your website where it is there for everyone to see whenever they want. You’re a great dental practice with work to boast about, ask the clients to boast about their pain free, prettier teeth too.
Sharing is Caring - Building a Client Base using Social Media
Whether we like it or not, social media is more and more popular, with COVID around, it’s the safest way to socialise.
Hairdressers and the like are all over Instagram and Facebook with before and after shots. You flick through thinking.. Wow! If they can do that with that hair, imagine what they can do to mine. It’s the same with teeth and oral hygiene. Actual pictures of work done is so much more of a selling point than a generic “straight white teeth” picture that you see in adverts and sites elsewhere. With your client’s permission, before and after shots with testimonials can be shared on social media to form a case study. It’s as good as a direct and individual advert for your business. Your work on display for the world to see.
If your practice has its own account then you can group all of these together in one place. People are on social media all the time, it’s so much easier than googling; practices near me, picking one, clicking their website link and finding the gallery page.
