Getting Positive Reviews
With the uncertainty of COVID-19, some people may feel apprehensive and a little anxious about attending their dental practices. Therefore, dental reviews are as important as ever! Up-to-date Google reviews have never been more important and can help take away some of that fear.
The fact is, 90% of consumers read online reviews before visiting a business. And 88% of consumers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations.
72% of patients say that positive reviews make them trust the dental practice more. Most people will seek out multiple practices in their area to then check the reviews, before committing to a dental practice.
Patients will have questions and concerns, especially around COVID-19 and what they can and can't do. Good reviews on Google could help bring in lots of potential patients looking for their next smile makeover or Invisalign treatment.
How to deal with positive and negative reviews
Positive Reviews
Always give thanks as a positive review will be doing you a great favour.
Ask a patient to leave a review when they have had a great experience with you, they will be more inclined to do this.
Sharing your review is one of the best actions you can do to. Take this positive review and possibly share it on your website or social media platforms
Negative Reviews
Always acknowledge the issue and thank them for bringing it to your attention. It never hurts to listen to them and work with them to find a mutual solution.
Not only does an apology appease the patient it will also show others that you care about providing a high level of service.
There also may be an opportunity to sit down with the patient and provide more information and clear up a misunderstanding.
Starred reviews on the internet can make all the difference and good reviews are key.
Getting more Dental Reviews
The best way believes it or not is simply just to ask them. 70% of consumers will leave you a review if you ask them. That’s quite a high percentage – but it works! Simply ask for honest reviews.
You can also ask for reviews on a feedback form or newsletters
Everyone needs reassurance and confirmation that their actions are the right ones. When patients are scrolling the internet and deciding which practice to join, seeing an average review rating of 4+ stars, or reading positive reviews may provide the information they need to pick up that phone and give you a call.
